As a wedding videographer based in Kent, I’m frequently asked many of the same questions by the clients who want to know more about my wedding video service. If you have any specific questions that aren’t addressed here then please don’t hesitate to get in touch with me, Brendan, on 0330 321 1515 or via email at .
Your wedding day will be a once-in-a-lifetime event. If you do not record it then all of those magical moments will be lost as your memories fade over time. The people I meet who chose not to have their wedding filmed always regret not having done so.
Although every wedding is unique the production process takes approximately the same time, depending on what type of filming package a client chooses. I guarantee to complete and return a wedding video to a client within 8 weeks of the filming date. However, I always endeavour to deliver it to them as soon as possible and I’m often able to do this well within the guaranteed deadline.
Of course you can. Although a wedding video should never replace the role of professionally taken wedding photographs, as part of my ‘Gold’ video package I provide the client with my ‘Stills Bundle’ which includes up to 200 key moment images taken from the video timeline. These can be viewed in HD quality on mobile devices and even printed by clients if they desire.

Absolutely! As part of the ‘Silver’ and ‘Gold’ video packages, I include separate highlight show-reels of all of the best moments cut to music chosen by the client. In my experience this makes viewing the video even more personal and enjoyable, as the client gets to watch their priceless memories along with their favourite soundtracks.
Yes, my wedding videography service can be adapted to reflect and respect the different requirements necessary for ceremonies of any faith. I also relish the opportunity to film Civil Partnerships.
Absolutely! As part of my wedding videography service I meet with all my clients for a free consultation to introduce myself and explain what I do. Once commissioned, this relationship carries on all the way through to the wedding day and beyond, when I deliver the completed video to my clients.
For me, it’s a way to build trust with my clients as I get a feeling for who they are, how I connect with them and, ultimately, find the best way for me to tell their story.
It’s so important to meet with the professionals who you’re commissioning to share your wedding day with so that you can feel relaxed around them. The last thing you want to do is to put your trust in a stranger who you haven’t met before your big day and whom might not be the right wedding service provider for you.
No, this isn’t a problem at all. For evening or winter weddings, when it gets dark a lot earlier, I tend not to use additional lighting that can ruin the ambience of the venue and draw more attention to what I’m doing.
Wherever possible I always try to work with the Venue managers to find the right balance between mood lighting and adequate filming luminescence. My cameras are designed to use natural and ambient light to film in the darkest of environments, where a spotlight isn’t necessary or appropriate.
My availability is limited so you should always try to book a commission as far in advance of your wedding as possible. However, even during peak times there can be cancellations and gaps in the diary, so please by all means get in touch to see if I can film your wedding for you.
Over the years I’ve learned to adapt my wedding videography service to cater for the changing needs and requirements of my clients. The way that people view their favourite films and television shows has shifted away from physical media, like DVDs and Blu-ray discs, which are limiting and will one day be redundant. I therefore moved my entire delivery onto a versatile and easily accessible online streaming platform.
With this in mind, I provide an entirely online streaming service where my clients can gain access to their treasured wedding video content wherever and wherever they wish. Not only is each online video fully customised for every client but these priceless memories can be shared with your friends and family anywhere in the world, by simply sharing a unique link and password.

Unlike other videographers who accept multiple same-day commissions and employ, often novice, freelancers who haven’t met with the clients before their wedding – I am always the main, and often the only, cameraman on every video that I produce. This guarantees continuity with the client and helps to get the best possible on the day.
When clients commission me to film their wedding videos, they place their trust in me. They trust that I will make them, their family and their friends feel completely relaxed and comfortable. They trust that I will deal with ever changing and challenging filming conditions without hesitation and have the experience to know how to get the best possible shots throughout the day. They trust that I will provide them with a wedding video that they’ll want to watch, and treasure, forever.
One thing for certain is that your wedding day and all of the many magical moment that make it so special, will only happen once. That’s why it’s so important to make sure that you get it filmed and to find the right person to film it for you.
Ultimately, I love what I do and I’m incredibly passionate about making visual records of priceless days for my clients, so please get in touch to see what I, Brendan at Ever Excellent Wedding Films, can do for you.
